ABOUT THE ARTIST

Award winning, Canadian Recognized Artist Mark Czajkowski

Mark Czajkowski has been exhibiting his art for over 35 years in juried shows, group shows and through commissioned work.  Primarily in oil and watercolour paintings, but also in metal and wood sculptures, Czajkowski's prolific output reflects a highly individual and spiritual intensity.
As he puts it, 'Everything that crosses my path, has a story that I feel needs to be told.'

A master carpenter now running his own business, Czajkowski Creative Carpentry, Czajkowski has also spent time as a prop and set builder for the theatres in Stratford and London, Ontario.
The diverse range of his interests and skills is as varied as his Canadian heritage.  His family came to Canada in the 19th century as escaped slaves seeking freedom, and as Poles seeking new world opportunities in the 20th century. Vestiges of this remarkable lineage are evident in everything he creates.
